As it was in the early days of the house, the large central hall remains its focal point today. The room is two storeys high and is occupied by the restaurant. The view of the Rax and Schneeberg mountains through the high front window only serves to heighten your enjoyment.
The fireplace and window nook have been incorporated into the restaurant, as has the adjoining reading room, the former study.
